A combination of CNC tool material selection expert system

In recent years, people have done a lot in the development of expert systems work, the establishment of a number of practical value system. Most of the traditional expert system based on rule-based reasoning (RBR) mechanism, also known as the production system, its manifestations single, easy to understand, it is more widely used method of knowledge representation, but it also has many disadvantages, such as the rule is difficult to obtain many of knowledge is difficult to express,  abrasive grinding  is low, the lack of flexibility reasoning. Case-based reasoning (CBR), also known as YuanLi reasoning, is accessed via the Knowledge Base for solving similar problems in the past so as to solve the current problems, a mode of  grinding wheel . Unlike CBR RBR, it can search through a similar cases and quickly solve the problem of the solution, without the need to do a series of the same  Diamond blade  reasoning. In this paper, the characteristics of CNC tool material selection, proposes a combination of CBR and RBR CNC tool material selection expert system, using CBR to improve the traditional production system, improve the efficiency of its reasoning. The basic framework of the system and put forward since RTH Chi combines CBR and RBR mode hybrid reasoning on this aspect of the growing number of research and application.
